Training that shows up on the field.
Lessons in hitting, pitching and defense, sold one at a time or in packs of 4 and 8. The first session shows the coach where a new player stands, and pack lessons may be small groups with players at the same level. Want one coach to yourself? Ask about premium one-on-one.
Request, hear back, pay, train.
A coach or the front desk gets back to you within 4 hours, counting only 8 am to 8 pm. Your confirmation email gives the exact time.
- 1Send a request. Pick a coach, or let us match you. Tell us who is training and what they need.
- 2We get back to you. Your coach or the front desk reaches you within 4 hours, the way you asked, to set up the first session.
- 3Pay online. Your coach or the front desk sends a payment link for a single lesson or a pack of 4 or 8. Every session is paid before it happens.
- 4First session, then training. The first session shows the coach where the player stands. Premium one-on-one is the coach’s call, and some players start in pack lessons. Pack lessons may be small groups with players at the same level.
Hitting.
Swing mechanics, approach and plate discipline.

- Who it’s for
- Hitters 8u through college who want a repeatable swing and a plan at the plate.
- A session
- Cage work off the tee, front toss and live arms, with video of the swing when it helps.
- Not for
- Players looking for a quick fix before Saturday. Swing changes take reps.
Pitching.
Mechanics, velocity, command and arm care.

- Who it’s for
- Pitchers building velocity and command without wrecking their arm.
- A session
- Arm care first, then mechanics, then throwing with a purpose, with a plan you take home.
- Not for
- Anyone who wants to throw max effort every session. Workload is managed.
- Coaches
- Nate Gercken
Position training.
Infield, outfield and catching.

- Who it’s for
- Players who want to own a position: footwork, hands, reads and throws.
- A session
- Fundamentals first, then game situations, specific to the position.
- Not for
- Players who only want to hit. Defense is its own work.
- Coaches
- Dyron Rolling
Team training.
A GEARS coach runs your team’s practices during the week.
- Who it’s for
- Little League, PONY, travel and school coaches who want a trained instructor running practice, while they coach the games.
- A session
- Your team, a GEARS coach and a plan, a day or two a week, at your field or indoors at our facilities.
- Not for
- Teams looking for a cage to rent without coaching. That is a facility rental.
Camps and clinics.
One focused camp a month, plus holiday camps.
- Who it’s for
- Players who want a concentrated block of work on one part of the game.
- A session
- Each month’s camp has one focus, run by the coach who teaches it, like outfield one month and infield the next. Thanksgiving, Christmas and home-from-college camps run on school breaks.
- Not for
- Families who need weekly lessons. Request a coach for that.

- Little League, PONY, rec, travel and softball coaches who want to teach the game better.

- Who it’s for
- Athletes who need to get faster and stronger in ways that show up on the field.

Training questions.
Are GEARS lessons one-on-one?
Not always. Premium lessons are one coach and one player. Pack lessons can be small-group sessions: after the first session, your coach may pair your player with others at the same level.
How are GEARS lessons sold?
As a single lesson or a pack of 4 or 8, paid online before the session. Your coach sends the payment link when they set up the first session.
Do you train softball players?
Yes. Tell us the sport and what to work on in your request, and the front desk matches you with a coach who teaches it.
Can GEARS train my team?
Yes. A GEARS coach can run your team’s practices a day or two a week, and you coach the games. Send a team training request with your age group and what you need.
Can I pay cash at GEARS?
No. GEARS does not take cash. Every lesson, pack and camp is paid online before the session, through the payment link your coach or the front desk sends.
